Privacy Policy

Privacy is the reason CryptoShip exists. Here's exactly what we do and don't collect.

What we store

• The ship-from and ship-to addresses on your label (required by carriers).
• Parcel dimensions, weight, service class.
• Deposit addresses we generated for your payment.
• A hashed (SHA-256) fingerprint of your IP for rate-limiting — the raw IP is never written to disk.

What we don't store

• Your name, email, phone, or any account credentials (we don't have accounts).
• Payment card data — we never see cards.
• Browser cookies for tracking. Only a session cookie for CSRF protection.
• Analytics, pixels, or third-party trackers of any kind.

Retention

Label PDFs and their metadata are purged 24 hours after generation. Payment records remain for accounting and dispute resolution but contain no personal data beyond what's on the shipping label itself.

Who sees your data

The shipping address is transmitted to the carrier (USPS/UPS) to generate the label — this is unavoidable. Beyond that, nobody.
